Associate Portfolio Manager
Location. Bermuda.

Position Requirements:
-- Bermuda Investment Advisory Services Ltd. (BIAS) is a full service investment management and advisory firm that is seeking an individual to join a team of energetic and committed professionals as an Associate Portfolio Manager. The successful candidate will be required to assist in the day to day research and management of client portfolios. Specific responsibilities of this position are: - • Consult with senior account executives with respect to the structuring and management of discretionary and advisory investment portfolios, commenting on how well they meet individual client objectives • Ongoing review, analysis and rebalancing of client portfolios in order to maintain compliance with BIAS’ model portfolio • Assist in the analysis of markets and financial instruments, presenting conclusions to BIAS Investment Strategy Committee • Gather and distribute research relating to economic cycles, portfolio management and asset allocation • Executing securities transactions in a timely, efficient and accurate manner • Preparing and maintaining all paper work necessary regarding trades, transactions and client documents • Documenting client communication in BIAS client management system • Preparation of periodic reports and presentations for existing clients and as well as proposals for prospective clients Qualifications and Requirements of this position include:- • A university degree, preferably in commerce, finance or economics • Successful completion of CFA level lll with 2 years portfolio management experience following receipt of CFA charter • A detailed knowledge of financial instruments as well as previous experience as an investment advisor for companies, trusts and private clients. • Must demonstrate experience in managing portfolios successfully • Strong PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.
